What happens if I cancel my subscription (or my trial ends)?
If you cancel your subscription, you can still log in and you will have access to your recipes and meal plans. The features you lose: Import or add recipes, make new meal plans, generate grocery lists.
Do I get money back if I cancel?
Yes. Cancelling takes effect right away, and we refund the unused time on your plan to the card you paid with, whether you pay monthly or annually. If you cancel an annual plan four months in, you get the other eight months back. Refunds usually show up on your statement within 5–10 business days.
Do you sell my data or run ads?
No. Frode doesn't run advertising and doesn't use analytics or tracking tools. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
Is anything held back until I upgrade?
No — there's only one plan, and the trial runs on full functionality. There's no paywalled feature waiting to surprise you later.
What if our household is bigger than 3 people?
The 3 member household limit restricts how many accounts are logging into Frode to add recipes and meal plans. This is different from the actual number of people in your household which is used for the meal planning and to figure out recipe scaling; that number is not limited. However, if you do find you need more than 3 people signing in, please reach out to us at hello@myfrode.com and let us know.
